Konstruktionen ämnas vara flytande och mobil.Gemensamt undersökte författarna byggnadens förutsättningar och möjligheter, i syfte att underlätta utformningsprocessen.Författarna utformade var sitt förslag. Det resulterade i två förslag med skilda arkitektoniska särdrag, skapade utifrån gemensamt stipulerade avgränsningar.Det ena förslaget är utformat med hjälp av geometriska former med raka sidor. A prefabricated timber frame house previously built by Villafabriken AB has been modeled in Autodesk Revit Architectural, a 3D-program based on BIM-technology. This has been done tosee if it?s possible to produce the publications that Villafabriken demands from the designengineer?s work, and examine which possible extra values that may arise compared to traditional 2D-CAD drawing.BIM is short for Building Information Modeling. This Degree project summarizes how it is to work in the CAD program Revit Architecture. This was done because AQ Arkitekter in Eskilstuna is interested in how Revit works. Especially compared to AutoCad which is the software they are using today. Will their work become more efficient with the new software?The starting point was to find out how it is to work with Revit when you only used AutoCAD Architecture before.

This thesis has examined the Tekla Structures modeling software and answered the question of whether it could act as a suitable modeling program for the design department at Bjerking AB in Uppsala. The method used in this work is a case study of a previous project with existing basis to work form. The demarcation of the study was to examine only the usability of the foundations of in situ concrete. The work examined three main areas within the design process. The first was to model the concrete elements then to model the reinforcing and ultimately production of the drawings. Because Autodesk Revit was the existing modeling program in the Department conducted the evaluation as a comparison between the two programs.

Laser scanning is a method of surveying that has evolved rapidly in recentyears. The technique is based on a laser scanner set up, which can document a structureusing pulsed laser beams. Each time the laser hits a surface it is partly reflectedback to the scanner that stores the point. By using strategically placed targets, storedpoints from different scans can be merged into a point cloud. A point cloud is avisualization of the scanned object with a very high accuracy.

BIM has been a trend in recent years when it comes to design and construction ofnew buildings. However, there has been less talk about what happens to BIM modelsafter the construction phase.This issue has been raised at the Forsmark construction documentation department.This thesis aims to look at how the information in a BIM model can be transferred tofacility management and GIS systems and thus add value, even after the constructionphase.Questions raises how such an exchange might look like and whether it is reliable.How should a claim be brought to planners for such an exchange to work.This thesis tested some of the most common methods for this kind of exchange ofinformation from BIM models to facility management and GIS. It was formats like IFC,Fi2xml and a database connectivity that was analyzed by a computer simulation of amodel provided by Forsmark. The model consisted of an existing office building atForsmark, modeled in Autodesk Revit.The results indicate that the formats tested require a precise plotting of the models.The loss of information that came to light in the simulation could be attributed tofailure modeling in Revit. Even such things as naming of areas must be consistent.

Byggnadsinformationsmodellering (BIM) är det informationshanteringssystem som de flesta konsultföretag och beställare strävar att implementera. Många har redan tillämpat BIM-metodiken som en del av byggprocessen. Eftersom tekniken går framåt tvingar detta också individen att utvecklas. Svårigheter uppstår när tekniken går framåt utan att den implementeras på rätt sätt av branschen. Problem finns i överföringen av information mellan olika parter.

Rapporten avhandlar visualiseringen i marknadsföringsstadiet av ett byggnadsprojekt med tillämpning på Trivselhus bostäder. För att få en grund till vad som ska ändras gällande företagets nuvarande visualisering har intervjuer genomförts med samtliga berörda parter. Dessa är säljare, kunder och husdesigners. Efter detta har två förslag till förändringar av nuvarande visualiseringar arbetats fram i Revit med intervjuerna som underlag..

Byggbranschen är ett verksamhetsområde som består av ett samarbete mellan flera olika discipliner. Varje byggprojekt har olika förutsättningar gällande tid, budget, resurser och kompetens. Oavsett typ, kräver byggprojekt en god samverkan mellan alla inblandade parter för ett framgångsrikt genomförande. En förutsättning för detta är att projektet har en bra samarbetsmetod mellan disciplinerna. En god utgångspunkt för att skapa en bra samarbetsmetod är genom att alla discipliner arbetar med en gemensam projektleverans som integrerar människor, system, affärsstrukturer och praxis.

This degree project aims to investigate the potential and possibilities for conceptual energyanalyses in the early stages of the design process. Many key decisions are made in theearly stages of a project regarding the shape and orientation of the building. Conceptualenergy analyses can provide the architects with insight regarding different design option?srelative energy performance.As the demands for more sustainable buildings increases, so does the need for earlyenergy analyses. Performing analyses in the early stage requires many assumptions andguesswork which could lead to a large margin of error.The offering from Autodesk is a module in Revit Architecture/MEP and the stand aloneprogram Project Vasari (under development).
